Health Checker Chart

There is no need to tell you that health indeed plays an important role in our life. We all know it too well that a person physically and mentally fit is “Mr. Go” at any instance. His body and mind will respond in the best possible way in any circumstances. Do you know that a person who takes care of his health reduces the probability of getting sick in which case would be more if he didn't. That’s perhaps the biggest contribution one can do to himself for himself.

This innovation comes in the form of a simple device known as the “Health Checker”. To make it look more feasible, I want this device as simple as a wristwatch. Let me explain the functionality of this thing. Well, basically it is a food recognition device and to put it more adequately, let me say it recognizes the basic diet and the amount in grams about the food that you are holding in your hand/spoon to which you are about to eat. Once you are done eating you are supposed to press the “finish” button on the watch. On doing this the data of the meal you just had will be sent to the electronic chart set up on your main room.

Now let me tell you what this electronic chart is all about. Well, it is a chart with electronic interface. It has a main page that will tells you three things – your current health based upon the food you just took, your previous months intake and its assessment and finally the intended target that you need to achieve in order to attain and maintain a perfect health.

So once you are done eating your meal , it gets updated accordingly.

Also at the end of each month this chart will sent an email to the doctor at the hospital who is in charge of your supervision. He will send a feedback which you can see it on the chart or in your email-inbox.

Second Skin Filtration

Would you shake hands with someone who you just saw sneezing and covering his face with his hands? My guess is no. But if that person happens to be your boss or some important businessmen who has just done a big business deal with you and finishing off the deal with the most significant gesture known as the hand shake? Would you still do it is not an option, the deal is important, that what matters the most and it has all come down to a filthy handshake.

Lets observe as to why we cannot do that. We think that idiot might pass off some disease that would he would be carrying and this is known as a communicable disease. Let us recall what is a communicable disease? Well, it an infectious disease transmissible (as from person to person) by direct contact with an affected individual or the individual's discharges or by indirect means.

I thought of this innovation a long time back when I was not sure I would be writing this book in future. So its good to see my ideas being shared with the world.

So to tackle this problem I had an idea of the “BioSuit”. This is a transparent suit so thin that cannot be seen with a naked eye nor can be felt by touching. Every individual would be required to wear one. This suit would be responsible for the protection of our skin from various communicable diseases. This would be acting like some sort of filtration.

Next thing that comes into my mind is to how would a person would wear this. Well, we can have this process just after the birth. What I mean to say is the doctor would direct the nurse to take the baby to the Biosuit operation room and there this process would take place. This suit is no ordinary suit, it would increase in size as the size of the human increases and would fit for any individual be it fat, thin, medium or whatever.

What I exactly mean by filtration is that this suit is so designed that it will not let the diseases enter your body through air, physical contact, or any other type of medium.

Sky And Water World

Humans have spent an awful amount of time living on land and using the sky and oceans for transportation and various other purposes. This very land of ours is getting wasted. Deforestation is one of the prime factors of this event. Everybody should give a thought about it because I tell you that we can't just made up some extra land, we will be cutting more and more trees for it.

This innovation will help put the civilization in the two nearest neighbors of the habitat of living things - Sky and Water. Although this is not a new concept, and has been theorised in many books and movies , still the very idea of it makes it more interesting to me. I want to share it with you.

Lets discuss about sky first, as some say it is the upper limit.

We have all seen sky from our childhood and know it too well as to why it is there. You have to admit it that it is beautiful and if you do not, you can't do anything about it. So what if we get to really live in this beautiful place? It will be a dream for everyone and once you go up there, people won't be dreaming about to living in heaven anymore.

So imagine building a huge spaceship and sending it up there. We can have a large platform supplied by thrusters which will draw infinite hydro energy generated by our successful running green energy. Upon this platform we can have our settlement. We can have a machine for transportation from the land to the sky. We could have two types of these machines - one for the passengers and the other for the cargo. You can even touch a rainbow from up there.

When I talk about water, I am referring to the ocean. We know that 3/4^th of the earth is occupied by water. So you see we can have more space for civilization. We are already aware of how the marine animals use and utilize water, I say why not join them? Question is how?

Now there are two ways of settlement, one is above the ocean and the other is under it.

Well, there are several ways we can do that. We can have ourselves experimented and develop fins and gills to breath underwater. But this is off the charts. What we can do is develop some sort of “Bubble Envelope” to have our underwater buildings constructed there and for other things such as transport. To enter this water world from the land, people would need to go through the “Bubble Gate”. We can have an underwater ferry to escort the people from the land to the gate. But why to even have such a headache when we can directly build a station of tunnel known as the “Tunnel Station” which will connect the underwater gate to the land. And on the land it will terminate to the bubble station outside.

And yes of course, not to forget the pathway between sky and underwater directly.

The Future Of Education

It is the complaint of many parents of school going children that schools of today do not provide a healthy practical knowledge or engage their minds to think. Well, it is not the problem of the school, its all pure business today. Surely knowledge is free for all. But to get that knowledge you need to see it in front of a book and no way books are free.

So what do we do to meet the solutions of the problems mentioned above. Well this innovation has been designed to to do just that. This one is inspired from the movie “Matrix”. The students would be having an opportunity to learn the subject in a pure virtual environment.

In this innovation the students are required to go to school and once reaching there they would have to chose the lessons they wish to learn by selecting a “data chip” from the data chip gallery. The data chip gallery is a place where all the topics of the lessons are installed. Well, lets just assume for now that they would need a prior permission from the teacher to issue those chips. Once obtained, all they have to do is just plug those chips into some device which is acting as the medium between the matrix and the real world allowing the children to hop in the world of education. For example, if the topic such as atomic structure is selected, a student would see a brief history of John Dalton, Thompson, Rutherford and various other important contributing scientist. Obviously, they would have an option for skipping this intro. Then the fun part begins, they would learn the structure of atom through interaction, like sometimes they would find themselves inside the atom or sometimes they themselves as proton.

What you can do with this type of innovation is endless. So I added one additional point- today books are written by authors, they could even make data chips and sell it. We have best educational books by some authors, so we can have some best data chips also being made by them as well, thereby increasing the competition.

Animal Mood Recognition

Next time you see your pet dog doing some odd stuff which makes you say - “what's up Spazz?” or something like - “I don't know whats wrong with him, maybe he is hungry” or something like “I gave him some Scooby snacks but there is still no change in his behavior”.

Imagine a device which would enable us to understand our pets even more clearly, like for example in case of dogs, they always have this collar belt around their neck. Now imagine this belt as no ordinary belt, it has some small L.E.D. attached to it, fed with animal behavioural data which will display the current mood of the dog. If suppose the dog is hungry, it will flash “HUNGRY” in the L.E.D., or to make it more fashionable- “I AM HUNGRY”.

For other pets, we can have similar such devices fitted in some appropriate places. In case of birds, the cage will act as the mood recognition device and if there are more than one bird in the cage, we can assign the name of each bird in the device and it will display the name and the status of that bird in the screen attached to that cage.

Nothing makes me more happy if there is some research done on animal gadgetry. What most of the time we do is just research on animals themselves. We all love animals, they are all gods loving and beautiful creation. Why not just bring them one step closer to us.

You may wonder why I didn't mention the animal voice recognition device which would enable us to communicate with animals more clearly.(Stephen Hawking, a renowned physicist uses this type of innovation.) Well, to have this means two things. First, if animals can talk with humans, they would then have to think. Secondly, if they begin thinking, what do you expect if they ask questions like “why do we have to be your pets ”. Then they would want their fundamental rights. I cannot go and talk about that stuff here, because that would mean “Animal Revolution”.

Human Voice Converter

If you plan to visit abroad for a tour or some business, only one and only one thing is expected out from you and that is having a grip over the international language, English. No matter what you do, learning this language is a must. But a sad story is most people learn it by heart, but lack in communication skills. Speaking this language takes practice like any other language, yet people end up stuck somewhere in between.

The innovation I am about to present here is nothing to do with improving your language or your communication skills, it gives you freedom to practice any language and communicate with other people even if they don't speak that language.

Now, it is time for some imagination. Suppose there is a small chip device embedded in our throat. This chip is capable of translating our voice language to the language of the listener. The listener will only hear only the language he has set to receive in his chip. The plus point of this chip is that it has zero delay time in conversion and can will not be an irritation while you speak. I will not discuss how possibly the conversion would take place, like all the grammar of one language getting converted into other language because that is the technical aspect of things that I am liable to skip.

This innovation has advantages of its own. It can eradicate the stage fear of many people who find it difficult to express their views in English. Although we have people who act like interpreters for them in some cases who cannot speak English, well we don't need them anymore. Diplomats of various nation can also talk freely with each other and need not wear any headphones for translators etc.

Free-Scope Surveillance Cameras

This innovation is for the police investigation purposes only. It shouldn't be misunderstood with some time travelling sort of stuff. We have surveillance cameras in many important places vulnerable to theft, terrorist attack or some other crimes. We can have them in certain highly important places as well, but I will discuss only the ones where public access is possible.

The only drawback in these types of cameras is that they are all static and in some cases, when a crime is committed the authorities find it difficult to conclude any useful information from the footage captured by these surveillance cameras. Like sometimes, in case of theft, the robbers face is unrecognisable, either due to he did not face the camera at the time or maybe due to the sorry-like quality of the footage itself. This gives the police a real deal to deduce the face and take time to sketch the picture of the suspect through investigating the witnesses and then sometimes the surviving victims.

Something needs to be done and done it shall be. My idea to eradicate this problem is this-

Suppose we can survey the area that are vulnerable to these crimes. Next comes a device that I call the “CamDep” – meaning “Deploying the Camera” (and yes, it is pronounced the other way round), having a tendency to float around the area within the limit-zone. So a set of these would be put up in that area and they would actually record the surroundings they encompass together.

What the authorities would be able to do is that when a crime occurs, they can go and view the footage. But now they would have an opportunity to see the things from any angle and from any distant within the boundaries the CamDep has covered. This would not only a turn in the suspect but will also acts as the prime witness in the case if the suspect is caught and brought in front of the judge. The only drawback there is is that if the suspect is wearing some helmet or mask to hide his face. Now that is something which I want you all to figure that out by yourself.

To make this innovation more real I will have to put the range of these devices to a certain distant.

3-Dimensional Display/Presentation Interactive (Advanced)

This innovation is so much similar to the one – 3D Display Presentation, yet so different. It is inspired from the Iron Man movie. The way Tony Stark uses his hands to work on a projection to analyze an object is mind blowing. What I mean is, even before the real model is made, he has already made it in 3D and then displays it with the help of projections. Now there are two things additional to this.

First, he can use his hand to work on it making it interactive. Second and perhaps the best thing I find about this is that the projection can even be use to test any errors. The machine would be able to point out the real physical errors if the object is to be made in real life. You are not required to create a prototype to put it in beta mode, Wow!. I did not even see this kind of stuff being pulled off in the Dexter's laboratory. Although I love that too.

If this innovation is possible, it can really help various industries out there. They can have a clear cut plan for bringing out the next product. For example if washing machines were to be made today, they could have been first made and analyzed in 3D projections and could have directly hit the market without going for a beta testing.

Obviously there has to be some sort of user-friendly software for making it easier for an average person to use this 3D tool. Another aspect of this is that these software need to be consistently be updated for any kinds of bugs they might show in between the process of making or using the 3D object, like the physics they use for testing.

Who knows if one could even make games out of this. Like playing call of duty, while you hold a projected gun and firing off at enemy and using your feet set on two pads for moving and other things.

I can't tell you about each and every stuff, think of your own...

The only limitations that I find about this innovation is how possibly can I use this technique with respect to software development.

I leave this thought to you and will appreciate if you can come up with something good.

3-Dimensional Display Presentation

This innovation is no far away from future and is one of the most anticipated innovation yet to hit the big stage.

Imagine a school student or an office employee required to give a presentation on a particular topic.

Instead of making the presentation on a computer using a power point program, he would be making a 3D presentation using some other future device and then displaying it in front of the audience. Rather than projecting on a screen, the animation would be displayed in an empty 3D space.

One of the best part of this presentation is that it can be viewed from any angle. The tools required to achieve a good presentation will be user friendly and will be suitable for all ages.

I will not limit myself and would like to tell you that this presentation can also be used to see a movie. Whatever goes behind to make a truly 3D movie like this (rather than today's illusionistic 3D, wearing those glasses.) is beyond the scope of this book. But it had limitations too, as to where one part of the audience would see the front side of the presentation, which is fine,but others would its back side, which is just not right. So for now, we will stick to the presentation.

So what else can we add? As I wrote this article, new ideas did came into my mind.

We can probably use this innovation as a night-lamp or also as something used for making baby's go to sleep. What I mean is imagine keeping this projecting device on the side table at night, switch on the button and this would make it to project small lambs running and jumping over the fence again and again, watching that will surely make you go to sleep as well.

Age Filter Retina Scan

Today, TV sets provide a child lock option for the parents on their children.

I can't remember my parents using one and neither any of my neighbours imposing such a strict rule on their child as well. Why? Its because no one cares as they think most programmes filter and censor the bad stuff themselves.

Online sites also provide an age filter option and it is as easy for my pet dog to bypass it.

But as I grew up, I begin to realise that there are certain things that children must not watch at such a tender age. Also it is now naive to think that children of today won't find a way to overcome this obstacle.

I thought of an innovation and it might just work out for this kind of problem.

Let us suppose there is some sort of retina scan device fitted inside the monitor of the TV set and is continuously emitting invisible signals outside. Through this scan, whatever the input information the device would get from scanning the retina(s), based on that it will be able to identify the age of a person and will only display the types of program that particular age is set for viewing.

But what if multiple people are viewing the TV? Simple. The device is so set so as to give the first priority to the person with the minimum age.

Next comes the online sites. Well it is still viewed in a monitor, right?

Swapping Body For Detecting Diseases

I consider this innovation to be an advance one and needs some thinking into it. I can recall from my own painful experience when I found it difficult to explain my problems when I visited a doctor , because I just couldn't.

I had this itching problem which showed up only in winters. If I had to go out for a walk, I needed to kept two things in mind. First, try not to walk or stay in direct sunlight for too long, and second, if I am carrying some heavy load, I would try not to stay in direct sunlight for no more than 3 minutes. Otherwise a stupid itch will start off on my body anywhere from the top of my head to the waist. If you would have seen me in that situation, you would then witness the ugliest way a human can walk.

So how will you explain such a problem to the doctor? Well apart from some high-tech machines that we need to perform this process, I wouldn't be talking about them. I will only explain the process.

In this innovation, a doctor can direct the patient to the B.S. process (Body Swap). He will connect some device on his head and the other one on his own head and carry out the other necessary procedures to see if everything is functioning properly. For example, he might check the pulse rate, the heart rate or any other important stuff that needs to be checked before initiating the process.

Well, that’s about it and he will signal his nurse to switch the button and begin the magic. After the process, the doctor will be having a full idea of the symptoms the patient would be having.

Now there are two things that needs to be kept in mind while I am telling you about this innovation. The problem the patient might be having may not be apparent while he is in the process and may occur to him only at some given circumstances. (like me. If I had gone to a doctor, I would need the sunlight directed towards me, inside the room.).

So in this situation the process can be broken down into two categories. One, the symptom you have is prevailing and can be detected by the doctor then-and-there. Second, your symptoms only shows at given circumstances, and so the doctor would be needing to make some special arrangements for this.

Well that’s about it. I hope I made my point clear.
